Bloomer & Body TrailImogen imagines an alternate retail and consumer experience where the passage of sale relies on hope, and on the act of people thinking of other people.
Imogen must be sold to Imogen. The artist cannot make another item of clothing for sale until Imogen is sold.

We want to help Imogen afford Imogen. A crowdfunding campaign is being established to help us get there.
It's hard to know yourself until you're forced to spill into action. My practice is the necessary force. I work primarily with the body, objects and text.
I never know what I'm doing but I know where it comes from; my experience of womanhood, of technology, of labour and paid work, of intimacy and desire, of power structures, of the lack of and want for autonomy. These things in thought - action - thought - action. It's an interesting relationship that might explain why I feel compelled to keep making art.
